Dr. McNatt completed his neurosurgical residency and pediatric neurosurgery fellowship in Los Angeles, at the University of Southern California and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. His primary clinical interests involve tumors of the brain and spine, congenital and developmental malformations, hydrocephalus, and epilepsy surgery.
His laboratory and clinical research focuses on benign and malignant tumors of the central nervous system. He is interested in elucidating tumor gene and protein expression profiles to facilitate the development of targeted therapies. He also has a special interest in investigating the biology, management, and long term outcomes of patients with craniopharyngioma.
