As Chair of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery, and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery, Dr. Handler has been at The Children's Hospital of Denver since 1993.  His clinical areas of specialty are pediatric neurosurgery, congenital malformations, brain tumors, epilepsy surgery, neuro-endoscopy Dr. Handler’s research interests include brain tumors, hydrocephalus, endoscopy, epilepsy, spasticity, relationship of congenital malformations and scoliosis.  Dr. Handler is Director of Education for the Department of Neurosurgery for medical students and oversees resident training at TCH.
