Basic Foundations in Neurosurgery Course

A Basic Foundations course was conducted in conjunction with Stryker this past week. It was the second time that the Department of Neurosurgery has offered this course. The Center for Surgical Innovation (CSI) was the site selected for this course and will be the site for future practicum programs. Basic foundations skills training is being considered for inclusion in the core curriculum. The Department of Neurosurgery has been proactive in this area and seeks to be a regional training site. Future planned courses are Advanced Neuroanatomy and Four Approaches to the Anterior Communicating Artery.
